Vision
Our vision is to position the Vivarium Foundation as a global benchmark in the prevention of snakebite accidents and in toxicological advice.
We aim to consolidate our wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center, promoting environmental education and leading the obtaining of animal toxins for scientific research purposes, thus contributing to the development of the pharmaceutical industry and the well-being of communities.
Mission
Our mission is to train the most vulnerable groups, such as minors and rural communities or those with high socioeconomic vulnerability, with the aim of reducing the morbidity associated with snake bites and contributing to reducing the global burden of this type of accident.
In addition, we seek to develop a zootoxin bank for research and scientific support purposes, create an antidote bank to reduce response times between the accident and the start of treatment, and establish an effective and accessible toxicological support network.
