José Antonio Yépez, 9 years old, is one of the bitten children, he is confined in the pediatric emergency of the Dr. AgustÃn Zubillaga hospital in Barquisimeto.

Luis David Contreras, 12, is the other bitten child who entered the emergency room at the José MarÃa Vargas central hospital in San Cristóbal last Saturday, after being bitten by a "cuatro narices" snake on his right foot.
Major Luis Contreras, a snake specialist, said the children are in delicate condition.
